A Chinese copper-red glazed saucer dish from the Qing Dynasty, Daoguang period. The dish features gently rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly everted rim. The exterior is coated in a variegated copper-red glaze, which thins gracefully to white at the rim and foot. The interior and base are covered with a clear glaze, while the base is inscribed with a six-character Daoguang mark. This sacrificial red glaze plate showcases the artistry and technical excellence of Qing Dynasty porcelain production.
