Born in Haining, Zhejiang Province in November 1939, Feng Jianqin is a member of the Han nationality. His illustrious career spans several noteworthy positions and accolades.

He has been a representative of the Ninth National People's Congress, a member of the Standing Committee of the Tenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the tenth Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Province Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and the Executive Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Artists.
One of his most notable achievements is his commitment to nurturing artistic talent with a sense of social responsibility, career development, and cultural creativity.
