Xiong Lijun – A Visionary Artist
Born in Chongqing, China, Xiong Lijun embarked on her artistic journey with a profound passion for creative expression. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1997, followed by a master's degree from the same institution's Oil Painting Department in 2002. Her commitment to art led her to further her studies as a visiting scholar at William Paterson University in New Jersey, USA, from 2017 to 2018.
Presently, Xiong Lijun serves as a professor of the Oil Painting Department at the School of Plastic Arts, Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. Her significant role extends to deputy director of the Oil Painting Department and master tutor. She is an esteemed member of the China Artists Association, an active participant in the Chongqing Artists Association, and serves as the director of the Chongqing Oil Painting Society.
