Dai Jianhua - Sketching Yunnan Puzhe Black
"Sketching Yunnan Puzhe Black" by Dai Jianhua is a stunning oil painting that invites viewers to immerse themselves in a serene and harmonious landscape. The composition is horizontally structured, creating a sense of depth and tranquility.
In the foreground of the painting, a body of water acts as a reflective surface, mirroring the sky, lush vegetation, and the distant hills that make up the background. Notably, the artist employs impasto techniques to accentuate the foreground, creating textured accents that initiate a visual dialogue between the foreground and the background. This approach adds depth and dimension to the composition, allowing for a more dynamic interaction between these two planes.
The color palette in "Sketching Yunnan Puzhe Black" is harmonious and skillfully captures the majesty of the landscape it portrays.
