Wei Luning, born in 1952 in Rizhao, Shandong, has a rich artistic background. He started his creative journey as part of a creative team in the Lanzhou Military Region in 1969. After his demobilization in 1974, Wei Luning pursued formal art education and was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Normal University. He is a distinguished member of the China Artists Association, director of the Jiangsu Artists Association, and chairman of the Xuzhou Artists Association. Wei Luning graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Normal University in 1976 and continues to contribute significantly to the world of art.
