Description:
A pair of George III silver milk jugs, London, 1790, each of octagonal form, engraved with bands of foliate scroll, and gilt interiors. Accompanied by a silver christening cup, London, 1788. The pair of jugs, though of light gauge, remain in good, unworn condition with clear hallmarks and blank cartouches. The small mug is also in good condition, with well-struck hallmarks, though the maker's mark is slightly mis-struck and the engraved initials are later additions. Total weight: 14.5 oz. (3 pieces).
