About the Artist:
Robert Friedrich Stieler was a renowned German landscape and architectural painter, as well as a draftsman. He studied at the Stuttgart Art School and the Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe, later becoming a professor of drawing at TH Stuttgart in 1884. Stieler produced numerous architectural drawings, including notable works from Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Maulbronn Monastery, along with watercolor paintings.
