Robert Hass, born in Heilbronn in 1898 and passing away in 1977, was a notable artist whose career spanned several decades. He began his artistic journey by studying at the Munich Academy of Arts in 1918. In 1936, he became a member of the Guild Artists Union. In 1955, he embarked on an independent artistic career and, from 1959 onwards, resided in Chelles/Marne near Paris.

Hass s artistic works encompassed a variety of styles and subjects, but he was known for his surrealistic scenes and depictions of French towns like Paris. His paintings are held in the Stadtische Museen in Heilbronn, where they are occasionally exhibited to the public.
