About the artist:
Sizhong Ding, born in Suzhou, Anhui in 1963, is an accomplished artist with a strong presence in the art world. He graduated from Anhui Art School, where he majored in fine arts. Ding is a member of the China Artists Association and holds the prestigious title of national first-class artist. He also serves as a director of the China Artists Association and is a member of the Thirteenth Anhui Provincial CPPCC. In 2012, he was honored with the title of "The Fourth National Young and Middle-aged Literary and Art Workers with Virtue and Art."
Ding Sizhong has had a remarkable career journey. He has held positions such as the former executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the Anhui Young Artists Association, executive vice president of the Anhui Youth Painting and Calligraphy Academy, director of the Anhui Artists Association, and member of the Standing Committee of the Anhui Youth Federation. Additionally, he has served as the chairman of the Anhui Young Artists Association.
Notably, Ding Sizhong is a key figure in the Watercolor Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association and has held the position of vice chairman of the Anhui Artists Association. He is also the president of the Chinese Painting Creation Institute of the Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles and serves as a director of the Watercolor Art Committee of the Anhui Artists Association.
Ding Sizhong has also played a vital role as a judge in several art exhibitions, including the 3rd and 4th Anhui Provincial Art Exhibition, the 7th China Sports Art Exhibition, the 9th National Watercolor and Pastel Exhibition, the 10th National Watercolor and Pastel Exhibition, the National Small Watercolor Painting Exhibition, and the 2nd China Pastel Painting Exhibition.
His artistic influence extends beyond China. Ding Sizhong has participated in solo and joint exhibitions in countries like Bulgaria, the United States, Singapore, the United Kingdom, France, Finland, and Sweden. His works have left a lasting impression on the international art scene.
In January 2023, Ding Sizhong was elected as a member of the 13th Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
