Description:
Teenager presents a desolate, almost dreamlike landscape, rendered in expressive and textured brushwork. The composition is dominated by a monochromatic palette of black, white, and soft sienna, with subtle red accents that punctuate the scene. At the center, a ghostly, near-indistinguishable figure emerges against a backdrop of white and light grey, its presence ambiguous and fleeting. On the left, a stark white tree stands, its branches holding an unsettling element—a cat, greedily suspended, its tail bound to the tree. The darkest tones are concentrated along the edges of the canvas, creating a natural framing effect that draws the eye inward, heightening the eerie, contemplative atmosphere of the work.
