A 19th-century shell cameo depicting Napoleon Bonaparte in profile, facing left, set within a plain gold frame. The cameo is carved from shell, showcasing intricate relief work. The piece measures 3.6 cm in length and is in good condition, with slight wear and discoloration to the gold frame, and natural flame structure visible within the undulating surface of the shell.

Provenance:
This cameo is a type of work similar to that by Antonio Berini, whose cameo gem version is held in the collection of the British Museum, London (Stock number 1978,1002.998).

A fine example of Napoleonic-era craftsmanship, ideal for collectors of historical miniatures or cameos.
