A letter signed by George VI, King of Hanover ("George Rex"), addressed to Johann Carl Bertram Stuve, a German lawyer, historian, and politician. Written in German, the letter acknowledges the receipt of Stuve's chronicle of the Prince-Bishopric of Osnabrück, presented to the king by his Lord High Chamberlain, von Malortie. King George VI expresses gratitude for the gift and states his intention to place the chronicle in his library.
