About the Artist:
Xing Jianjian, born in Nantong, Jiangsu in 1959, is a renowned Chinese oil painter. A graduate of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, Xing stayed on as a professor and master tutor at the university's School of Fine Arts. A member of the China Artists Association and Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society, Xing has exhibited widely at national and international venues, including the 8th–11th National Art Exhibitions, as well as exhibitions in the U.S., France, Japan, Korea, and beyond. His works have been featured at prestigious auctions, including Hong Kong Sotheby's, China Poly, and Guardian. Many of Xing's paintings are housed in museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide. Additionally, Xing has authored several publications showcasing his art and teaching models, reflecting his influence on contemporary Chinese oil painting.
