About the Artist:
Xing Jianjian, born in Nantong, Jiangsu in 1959, is a celebrated Chinese oil painter. A graduate of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, Xing remained as a professor and master tutor at the university. Xing is a member of the China Artists Association and serves as Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society. His work has been showcased in the 8th–11th National Art Exhibitions and internationally in countries such as the U.S., France, Japan, and Korea. His art is featured in prominent auction houses, including Hong Kong Sotheby's, China Poly, and Guardian, and is part of numerous museum and private collections. Xing is also the author of various publications that explore his unique style and contribution to contemporary Chinese art.
