About the Artist:
Xing Jianjian, born in Nantong, Jiangsu in 1959, is a prominent Chinese oil painter. A graduate of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, Xing remained as a professor and master tutor at the university’s School of Fine Arts. He is a member of the China Artists Association and serves as Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society. Xing's works have been exhibited in the 8th–11th National Art Exhibitions and internationally, in venues spanning the U.S., France, Japan, and Korea. His paintings are frequently featured in auctions by Hong Kong Sotheby's, China Poly, and Guardian, and are part of numerous museum and private collections. Xing has authored multiple publications documenting his artistic journey and achievements.
