Description:
Jianjian Xing’s Figure 3 presents a side profile of a young woman rendered in a harmonious balance of soft washes and dynamic linework. About the Artist:
Xing Jianjian, born in Nantong, Jiangsu, in 1959, is a celebrated Chinese oil painter. Graduating from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, Xing has since become a professor and master tutor at the university’s School of Fine Arts. A member of the China Artists Association and Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society, Xing’s works have been showcased in the 8th–11th National Art Exhibitions, as well as internationally in the U.S., France, Japan, and Korea. His art is highly sought after, with appearances at major auctions such as Hong Kong Sotheby's and China Poly, and is held in numerous public and private collections worldwide. Xing has authored several books chronicling his artistic vision and achievements.
