About the Artist:
Xing Jianjian, born in Nantong, Jiangsu, in 1959, is a distinguished Chinese oil painter. A graduate of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, Xing now serves as a professor and master tutor at the School of Fine Arts at his alma mater. He is a member of the China Artists Association and Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society. Xing's works have been exhibited extensively, including the 8th–11th National Art Exhibitions, and have been featured in international showcases in the U.S., France, Japan, and Korea. Highly sought after, his works have appeared in major auctions like Hong Kong Sotheby's and China Poly, and they are housed in notable public and private collections. Xing has published numerous books detailing his artistic journey and contributions to Chinese art.
