About the Artist:
Born in 1961 in Tel Aviv, Patricia Govezensky discovered her passion for art early, enrolling in courses sponsored by the Tel Aviv Museum. She furthered her education at Tel Aviv University, where she studied both art and science, and later refined her artistic skills at the Avni Institute (1982-1984). In 1987, she graduated with honors from the Ramat Hasharon Art Academy.
Govezensky is known for her distinctive female-centric artwork, characterized by bold colors and elegant, lively subjects. She describes her work as an expression of life’s joy and fulfillment, aiming to evoke positive emotions and appreciation for beauty. Rejecting protest and cynicism, her paintings offer a celebratory and uplifting vision of the world, where color and composition create a sense of harmony and delight.
