About the Artist:
Li Xiaoqi was born in Shandong in June 1983. A graduate of the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2005, he now lives and works in Chongqing. Li Xiaoqi's art often explores indeterminate and dreamlike imagery, using muted tones with occasional vivid accents to elicit a powerful emotional and spiritual response. His work frequently juxtaposes themes of loneliness and existential inquiry, expressed through dynamic brushwork and innovative compositional rhythms.
