Born in 1959 in Nantong, Jiangsu, Xing Jianjian has made a significant impact on the world of art through his prowess in oil painting. In 1986, he earned his bachelor's degree in oil painting from Nanjing University of the Arts, where he would go on to become a teacher. Currently, he holds the esteemed position of professor and master tutor at the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts. Furthermore, he is a member of the China Artists Association and serves as the Director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society.
