Luo Zhongli, born in 1948 in Bishan County , Sichuan Province (now Bishan County, Chongqing City), graduated from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, artist , educator, former president of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts .
In 1964, Luo Zhongli was admitted to the Affiliated High School of Sichuan and the United States with the first place. After graduating from the Affiliated High School of the United States, Luo Zhongli returned to Daba Mountain in Daxian District , Sichuan. In 1977, Luo Zhongli, who was nearly 30 years old, walked out of the poor Daba Mountain and took the first exam after the country resumed the college entrance examination. In the end, 30-year-old Luo Zhongli successfully entered the Chuanmei Oil Painting Department and became the oldest student in the class.
Promoted to associate professor in 1984, went to the Belgian Royal Academy of Fine Arts for training in the same year, returned to school in March 1986, and was promoted to professor in 1993. He is currently the dean of the China Academy of Contemporary Art , a representative of the National People's Congress, an expert enjoying national government subsidies , and the Chinese Artists Association Standing director, vice chairman of China Oil Painting Association, consultant of the 9th China Artists Association , chairman of Chongqing Artists Association , chairman of Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, was named one of the 100 artists with "virtue and art" by the Ministry of Culture in 1997, In 1998, he was rated as a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions by the country.

Artist Biography

In 1964, Luo Zhongli was admitted to the Chuanmei High School with the first place. After graduating from the High School Affiliated to Sichuan and the United States, Luo Zhongli returned to Daba Mountain, Da County, Sichuan. In 1977, Luo Zhongli, who was nearly 30 years old, walked out of the poor Daba Mountain and took the first exam after the country resumed the college entrance examination. In the end, 30-year-old Luo Zhongli successfully entered the Chuanmei Oil Painting Department and became the oldest student in the class.
From 1977 to 1981, he studied in the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts .
Graduated in 1982 and stayed in school to teach.
