Guo Juntao, born in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province in 1986, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Capital Normal University with a Bachelor of Arts in 2012, and graduated from the Department of Oil Painting of the School of Art, Renmin University of China in 2015 with a Master of Arts, under the tutelage of Professor Ding Fang, in 2016 Studying for a Ph.D. in Aesthetics from the School of Philosophy, Renmin University of China, supervised by Professor Ding Fang and Professor Niu Hongbao.
