Ong Kim Seng's remarkable achievements include winning six awards from the prestigious American Watercolor Society (AWS), an organization with a rich history spanning 138 years. His recognition by the AWS led to him being granted membership in 1992—an honor that speaks volumes about his artistic prowess. Notably, Ong is the first and only Singaporean artist to have achieved this feat. Furthermore, he is also the only Asian artist outside the United States to have been admitted into the AWS, a testament to the global impact of his art.
