Description:
Guilty of Genius presents a striking portrait of Salvador Dalí, rendered in a realistic, monochromatic style with precise and controlled brushwork. The surreal icon holds a sign reading "guilty of genius," which becomes a central part of the composition. Behind Dalí, vivid electric colors burst through, creating a stark contrast with the realism of the portrait. A melting clock on a branch, reminiscent of Dalí’s own iconic imagery, and the dynamic use of bright colors dripping over the surface, add a sense of chaos and surreal energy to the piece. This fusion of realism and surrealism highlights the genius of Dalí while referencing his own boundary-pushing contributions to the world of art.
