About the Artist
Jianjian Xing (born 1959) is a renowned Chinese oil painter from Nantong, Jiangsu. A graduate of Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, he has since remained at the institution as a professor and master tutor. Xing is a member of the China Artists Association and serves as the director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society. His works have been featured in major national and international exhibitions, including the 8th to 11th National Art Exhibitions and Chinese Oil Painting Exhibitions. Additionally, his paintings have been auctioned at prestigious houses such as Hong Kong Sotheby’s and China Poly. His work is held in numerous museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide. Xing is also a prolific author of art books and instructional materials, further solidifying his influence in contemporary Chinese painting.
