About the Artist:
Born in 1959 in Nantong, Jiangsu, Xing Jianjian is a distinguished Chinese oil painter and educator. He graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986 and has since remained a professor and master tutor at the institution. As a member of the China Artists Association and director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society, he has played a significant role in shaping contemporary Chinese oil painting.
Xing’s works have been exhibited extensively in China and internationally, including at the 8th through 11th National Art Exhibitions and the 2nd and 3rd Chinese Oil Painting Exhibitions. His paintings have also been featured in prestigious auction houses such as Sotheby’s Hong Kong, Poly Auction, and China Guardian. His art is housed in museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide, and he has published numerous books and collections on his artistic practice.
