Artwork Description
"Vase of Flowers" by Jianjian Xing is a striking still life that breaks away from tradition with its minimal palette dominated by hues derived from orange and magenta. The rich textures, particularly on the flowers, add depth and vibrancy to the piece. The unexpected color palette and free, gestural treatment of the surface infuse the painting with spontaneity and a fresh approach, transforming a classic composition into something uniquely engaging.
