About the Artist: Gao Huijun
Gao Huijun was born in Baoding, Hebei in 1966. He graduated from the Hebei Light Industry School in 1986 and from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts (now the Academy of Arts and Design, Tsinghua University) in 1992. In 1994, he settled in Songzhuang Xiaobao, an artist's community in Beijing. Over the years, Gao Huijun has become a significant figure in contemporary Chinese art, participating in numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
