About the Artist:
Born in 1959 in Nantong, Jiangsu, Xing Jianjian is a distinguished Chinese oil painter and educator. He graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986, where he now serves as a professor and master tutor. As a member of the China Artists Association and director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society, Xing has played an influential role in contemporary Chinese art.
His works have been featured in the 8th to 11th National Art Exhibitions, the 2nd and 3rd Chinese Oil Painting Exhibitions, and numerous international showcases in the United States, France, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore. His paintings have also appeared at renowned auction houses, including Sotheby’s Hong Kong, Poly Auction, and China Guardian. His art is held in private and institutional collections worldwide, and he has published several books documenting his artistic achievements.
