About the artist:
Xing Jianjian, a Chinese oil painter born in 1959, hails from Nantong, Jiangsu. He embarked on his artistic journey by earning a bachelor's degree in oil painting from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1986 and eventually joined the institution as a teacher. Today, he holds the prestigious positions of professor and master tutor at the School of Fine Arts of Nanjing University of the Arts. He is a distinguished member of the China Artists Association and serves as the director of the Jiangsu Oil Painting Society.

Xing Jianjian's works have graced numerous national and international exhibitions, including the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th National Art Exhibitions, the 2nd and 3rd Chinese Oil Painting Exhibitions, and exhibitions in countries such as the United States, France, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, among others. His artwork has been featured in prominent auctions conducted by institutions like Hong Kong Sotheby's, China Poly, Guardian, Hanhai, and Rongbao.
